Cold chain practitioners are responsible for the safe handling of chilled and frozen foods from the farm or factory to the consumer. They are typically people who work in cold rooms and storage facilities, on loading docks, and in refrigerated transport. Managing practitioners are those in supervisory or management roles. They are involved in decisions regarding asset selection and handling procedures that can have a financial impact on the business.
